Zorevunersen is one of the more compelling late-stage genetic-medicine assets in neurodevelopment, with a coherent disease-modifying mechanism, substantial and durable seizure reductions in early studies, and encouraging long-term developmental signals. We think EMPEROR has a credible path to demonstrating clinically meaningful seizure efficacy, but the more valuable developmental proposition remains less de-risked than the headline Vineland data suggest.
- The strongest developmental comparison comes from a small, selected open-label cohort against external natural history, while the pivotal trial must reproduce that signal under randomized conditions at Week 52. We are constructive on the asset, but the valuation increasingly requires more than a conventional positive Phase 3 outcome.
